HURT people hurt PEOPLE

Her ex boyfriend had told me every insecurity she had ever had. How he couldn't break up with her BC she always threatened suicide (once upon a time I actually sympathize for her..that time was gone)

So every secret vulnerability he exposed, I exposed to her. Showcasing her reflection...to herself...

My mother always said "hurt people hurt people."

But who is the hurt person in an argument....! Its a vicious cycle of hurt people.

But I must say, I am more disappointed in myself than her. I read her for this type of person a long time ago, I didn't not read myself?! Maybe I deserve a dose of my own reflection as well....

My friend told me that you must eat the cookie in order for it to come true.

Needless to say I devoured the entire fortune cookie, even licking my fingertips in the end.

she asked me to write
she moves her hair back
after i read her my thoughts
rubs my dog gently
brookly loves her
my mom loves her
but i owe her the truth
that my tears collect at the corner of my eyes
from a heartbreak that happened a few months ago
i like her
she's beautiful
even when she's eating my hot fries
and watching old cartoons
someone like her
i want to give my all
and my all is not up for grabs
because their still lingering in someone else's hands
